Last night Tommy and I were cuddling and laughing in bed, one of our favorite things. Our heads were nestled close and we were saying silly things that only people say when they're up way past their bedtime.
me: "I wish one of my eyeballs were a camera so I could take a picture of this moment."
Tommy, in a matter-of-fact tone: "Someday they'll actually make a contact lens for your eye that's a camera, and to take a picture you just have to blink. But all the pictures will be black."
