Memorial Day
8:48 AMWe had a fun and lazy Memorial Day. Just like I had hoped, we were all pretty much better from our colds so we could enjoy the holiday. We spent the morning at IKEA with Scott and Kristine, enjoying a free breakfast and good sale prices. Sydney celebrated by leaking out of her diaper while in Scott's arms.
Later that day we fired up the grill and played outside while Tommy barbecued. It's kind of nice not having a fence yet, because it's like our yard extends out to the park. It's like we get a huge yard to ourselves! We kicked around a soccer ball, threw frisbees, and the little ones enjoyed wandering around the field after us. I started getting used to such a nice long weekend with Tommy by my side, that I'm not quite ready for him to go back to work today!

Haley enjoyed the holiday by being cone-free and getting lots of attention from Uncle James
Malinda and Mason made a delicious Banana Cream Trifle dessert. As you can see, Mason enjoyed both the making and the eating .
