this is the life

barefoot on the lawn,
licking ice cream cones,
bbq-ing,
and chasing our crazy dog.
My parents came out for a quick weekend trip, and we had so much fun playing together as a family.
Here's a peek at our weekend:
Sydney is learning how to eat ice cream cones for the first time. Her world will never be the same.
Our cheap chairs are permanently sitting on our non-fenced back patio for the world to see, along with other junk. The neighbors must love us.
and, no, the child on the left is not mine (although you see just as many shots of him as of Sydney on this blog)...but Sydney and Mason are little pals and wherever Mason goes, Sydney follows.
We inherited our very own playset from Tommy's brother! Sydney begs to play on it all day, every day.

Malinda brought her weimaraner, Gunner, over, who is still a puppy but now towers over Haley. They looked like this pretty much the entire time.
