Our giant stockings are all finished (the stockings my aunt began making for everyone when I was a kid, a tradition my sister and I have kept up). Except I won't let my kids run around the house wearing them like we did when we were little.
I had in my head a picture of my sweet kids sitting cozily in front of the fire, cuddling together.....
that didn't quite happen
between a baby that winds down for the night very quickly, and a 3-yr-old that can't handle her Christmas excitement, our house is rarely quiet and cozy like I always imagine.
