pumpkin carving

Halloween is one of my favorite days of the year! Since Noah arrived just 13 days before the big day, we haven't been able to do all the traditional festivities (I almost tried to throw a halloween party still, but my better judgement finally won). But last night we squeezed in some pumpkin carving after a long day, and Sydney and Max's squeals of excitement made all the effort worth it.
Max was a little scared about the gross pumpkin innards...he kept saying "ghost ghost?"
Sydney drew her own face that turned out looking super creepy...but she insisted it was "SO CUTE!" every few seconds.
Max and Daddy were on one team, and me and Sydney were on the girl team...we wouldn't let the other team see the faces until we were finished.
