life with a newborn
3:17 PM
This is what our first month with Noah looked like:
He sleeps in our bed, and is an amazing sleeper. After only a week or so, he started sleeping in 5 or 6-hr stretches.
Max needs to be close by mama and baby at all times, showing off his energy, kisses, and hugs.
Noah is the easiest baby, especially if he's held as much as possible. We love baby slings for that reason. :)
Sydney has learned the art of nursing. She uses her skills on her dolls; Max asks to nurse Noah.
I think these two will be good buds
Tommy knows exactly what I need: as soon as he gets home from work, he quickly makes a sweep through the house, turning the chaos into a clean home, and then offers to take the older kids off my hands for an hour or two. This time he brought Max out on a daddy-son date at the dinosaur museum.
Haley gets spoiled by Sydney
Max steals Noah's baby hats. He loves accessories.
Snuggles with daddy on his one month birthday. Noah loves the burp position.
We love it when the aunties visit! They were so nice to come play and help a lot during the first month of newbornhood.
we spent a lot of time inside (I didn't try leaving the house with all three kids for the first month!), so we stayed occupied by exciting things like taking pictures of random objects (left) and counting our pennies.
