San Fransisco for Valentines Day

10:55 PM

Tommy and I and our little sidekick, Noah, celebrated Valentine's Day in San Fransisco while Sydney and Max stayed with Nana and Papa. We love San Fran. This is where we spent our first Valentine's Day together 10 years ago.

I made Tommy pull off the road when I saw this adorable abandoned wooden boat.

The day was amazing, but it also was very funny with getting lost over and over because of crazy Maps on my phone. The day ended with us stuck in 5mph traffic for a couple hours while I searched for the best and most romantic spot for dinner. We drove to several restaurants that were either closed down, full, or one where we sat for 20 minutes in a chaotic restaurant without any waiter ever coming to check on us and listening to the angry murmurs of the seated people around us, so we finally left. And what we finally chose, as I phoned a pizzeria and excitedly found them having a table available, was this:

We walk in, looking for our table they said they were reserving for us, as we're all dressed up and holding gifts for each other, and realize it's a mostly-takeout pizza joint. The employees were probably cracking up as they placed the "reserved" table sign on the sticky booth next to the arcade game when I called. We couldn't stop laughing.

let's just say, it was a classy end to the special day.

And here are the V-day goodies we gave each other:
I woke up to chocolate, a card, and a bouquet of gift cards. He is a sweetie.

Love coupons and a love note from me to him.

I think we should spend every Valentine's Day in San Fransisco.
