the northern beaches
7:24 PMFive years ago (wow, has it been that long?!) Tommy took me home to his family's house in beautiful northern California during a long weekend break from school. I fell in love with the area, with it's lush, rolling hills and open spaces. On one of the days, we drove about 3 hours to the nearest beaches. These northern coastlines look a lot different than the ones I grew up with in southern Cali, but they have their own distinct beauties. I love the shapes and sizes of the rocks and cliffs. We got to revisit these beaches during this trip, and we all even stayed the night in a nearby hotel to stretch out the fun. There's something about the water that is so inviting and soothing.

Sydney thought the hotel room was very exciting. She managed to open/crawl in/pull off everything around her in a matter of minutes.
there were the cutest little candy shops and tiny eateries lining the roads
ever since our stay in Australia, we love any chance we get to grab some fish n' chips :)
