sun withdrawals
3:15 PMSydney and I came home last night after spending a week with my parents in California. Just a 90 minute flight, and you're surrounded by warmth, blue skies, and endless green rolling hills.
Yesterday we played at the beach. I was pleased to see Sydney fall in love with the sand and water this time (finally!). Actually, she started to scare me with her enthusiasm and bravery. She didn't want me to hold her hand or be at all near while she ran out farther and farther. And when I insisted on holding on to her tightly, she'd fling her body into the waves.
When we got home, Utah welcomed us with open arms by dumping several inches of snow. :)
