this warm fall

Every day of this warm fall Sydney and I open the blinds in the morning and say, "Wow, it's another beautiful day!". 

Our family was in town over conference weekend, so we took advantage of the great weather and headed to Provo canyon for a picnic and hike.

Max and cousin, McCabe, just 4 months apart. My mom got them matching onesies that Max's gut was busting out of. But he kept it on long enough for some photos. :)

Max was a bit startled by the freezing river water

We then headed up higher up the canyon to enjoy the last of the fall leaves

a pack of balloons in my bag distracted the kids from some innocent caterpillars (that wouldn't have survived long without the quick balloon interruption)

Even Max got a kick out of them
