Sydney's Letters

12:16 AM

Sydney loves to sit at the table and "write letters" as she scribbles in her mini notebook. One afternoon as she worked away, mumbling her notes outloud, I secretly wrote everything she said down. She's a very good pen pal, let me tell ya.

"Dear Santa,

How are you today? I love you, Santa. Do you want to come and eat cookies and eat chocolate milk? I want to, Santa. I want a bunny and a mouse, and a snake for Daddy." (p.s. she knows Daddy hates snakes)

"Dear Haley,
I can do this, Haley. I want to give you a treat bone."

"Dear Daddy,
I come for work. I want a donut. I love you, Daddy. I want to give you a big kiss and hug. Come home for work. I know, Daddy. You have a smoothy, please? I want a smoothy again. (in quiet voice as she scribbles) Smoothy again smoothy again smoothy again. Thanks."

"Dear Mason,
I can do this, Mason. We come to your house later. I can do this. I want to have this. I know. I love you, Mason."

"Dear Augus [uncle Alex],
I go for work. I can do it. I can do this. I draw a letter. I can do this every day."
