Our Easter Weekend
1:00 PM
Holidays, family, sugar and sunshine. The best things in life.
We started the festivities at a Provo park Easter event with a huge egg hunt, bounce houses, face-painting, music and treats.
Every time Sydney gets her face painted, she always requests a butterfly, and Max a spider. It's tradition, I guess.
Noah sat still as a stone for his first face-painting.
There was a long wait for the hunt to begin, and Max and Noah kept sneaking over the line before it started.
Sydney loves her cousin, Leah
We went over to Kathleen and David's house for the egg dying and family egg hunt. My mom is so good with kids.
Leah and Caitlin
Kathleen with her cute baby in the belly! They just found out it's a girl!
Ben took his egg-dying seriously
Noah was glued to David, as always

Kathleen has the perfect yard for an easter hunt. It is huge and enchanting with so many paths and levels
Noah is a chocolate-lover
Sydney found one of the three Golden Eggs
Easter morning was a rush to get to 9am church, so the Easter Bunny waited for us to get home to hide our baskets. :)
The Easter Bunny ate his hard-boiled painted egg and carrots Sydney laid out for him the night before. Who says Santa should be the only one with treats?
Easter Sunday was Noah's first day of nursery! He is a big boy now. He lasted a whole hour before I saved the nursery workers from having to hold him the entire time while he cried. :(
Noah had lots of helpers finding his basket
Sydney was in heaven with everyone's clues. She was just as excited about their hunt as hers.
Max's was full of foxes and whales and sharks - all of his favorite things.
The Easter Bunny is getting smarter, and drawing more obscure clues for this girl.
She was excited to show off her basket to her neighbor friends
Even Tommy and I got spoiled
We had lots of family over for a big traditional Easter feast
Soccer and trampoline in the backyard in this nice sun
Noah was juggled around by all the players
Max loves his "Rapunzel" cousins (Bridget and Alisa)
Mom and Dad got a surprise basket - you can tell it's for them with the black licorice :)
Alex is always wowing us with his acrobatic skills
I am so grateful for these sweet and silly children in my life. Easter is a special time to remember our Savior and all He has done for us. His Atonement and Resurrection gives me so much peace, hope, and happiness.
Left: Sydney loves her boys (you can faintly see Max's arms around them both)
Right: I love my handsome men
Sydney snapped one of me and Noah. Tommy says I'm trusting with my camera. I say, she's ready to go pro!
Happy Easter!
