bear country

I shot a wedding in Idaho Falls last week, so Tommy and the kids drove up to keep me company. During breaks we saw the sights and found this adorable Bear Country park where you can drive through a large fenced area full of bears and all kinds of animals. We have a huge bear fan in the house (it was one of Max's first words), so we got to hear his squeals and "bear! bear! bear!" chirps in the back seat.

         the kids were almost just as excited about being out of their car seats as they were watching the animals

Afterwards we played at the petting zoo and mini amusement park. I had to keep a close eye on Max for the safety and survival of the animals. :) 

Sydney was so sweet and gentle with all the animals, introducing herself and telling them not to be scared. Max thought chasing them at full speed was more fun.

I watched as he picked something up to feed the goat. After snapping the photo and getting closer, I saw it was chicken poop. Poor goat.
