st. george
6:59 AM
We took a mini vacation for a few days in St. George a couple weeks ago for some fun and relaxation before a busy fall. Sydney kept calling this new place with red dirt everywhere "Curious George".
Our friends Kirstin, Wes, and Suli joined in on the fun
Sydney says she is a mountain climber like Daddy now
Max found a nice place to rest
Sydney is a big fan of cooking (probably because it's a rarity in our kitchen), so she was excited when Kirstin let her help make homemade pizzas one night.
For dessert, Sydney made us a concoction of plants and water soup
St. George is a special place for me, because my grandma lived there for most of my life, and we'd visit once or twice every year. The St. George temple is one of my very favorites, and was the first temple I got to go through before I got married.
It was so sweet showing Max and Sydney the beautiful grounds
There's a huge park across from my grandma's old house that we spent our childhood summers playing and exploring
I love seeing Sydney cuddle up with her daddy when she's sad (I can't remember what happened, but it didn't last long before she was back to running around with a smile)
the gazebo that served for lots of made-up games
the belly at 30 weeks!
we all love St. George and can't wait to go back!
